New York’s David Waugh is a comedian, actor, singer and dancer who has been on the club circuit since he was twelve years old. He grew up in Brooklyn’s Crown Heights, a predominantly Jewish and African American neighbourhood.
David’s charismatic, edgy physical comedy has been featured at such prestigious venues as Madison Square Garden, Caroline’s Comedy Club, Comic Strip Live, the Boston Comedy Club, the Uptown Comedy Club, Honeysuckle West, Dangerfield’s Comedy Night Club, New York Improv, Broadway Comedy Club, L.A. Comedy Store, Laugh Factory, L.A. Improv, and on television’s Last Comic Standing.
David’s theatrical credits include a role as Brother in The Gift of Life, Aegeus in Medea, Jesus in The Odd Couple, and Tony in Tony and Tina. David also hosted Time Warner’s New York’s Greatest Kids and Queen’s Cable Kids. His film credits include the lead role in He Said, She Said, a supporting role as John in Young Brothers and Sisters, and various roles on the popular television drama, Law and Order. |
