Often described as one of the most unique acts in the country, Davo is truly a character that one cannot help but be amused by. His clean style of humour ensures that he is loved by audiences of all ages and tastes.
Davo's first comedy performance was in March 1999 at the 'Harold Park Hotel' in Sydney. In 2001 he won the grand prize of $10,000 on Channel Nine's nationally televised 'So you want to be a comedian?' programme and also made numerous appearances on 'The Tamara Tonite show' in Brisbane.
He has been heard nationally on the radio through the 'Home Grown Humour' segments and in 2003 was invited to audition for the role of sidekick for Toni Pearon on Australia's Funniest Home Videos. He was also co-host on Triple M's (Brisbane) late night comedy programme 'The Mothership' with Stephen Head and Greg (Sully) Sullivan.
In 2006 Davo Performed at the Adelaide Fringe Festival in the hit show DIABLO with comedians Paul Brasch and Chris Wainhouse. He also appeared at Sydney's famous Comedy Store and on the 'Standup Australia' tv show currently airing on the Comedy Channel.
2007 Has been a big year for Davo, He has started a feature column in the ‘Curiouser & Curiouser’ emagazine distributed by Rabit Hole Urban Media, Was voted most original comic by the “Queensland Standup Comedy Awards”, Appeared on NBC’s internationally televised Last Comic Standing, and commencing at the end of 2007 he will be featured on Virgin Blues 'voyeuractive' channel as part of the airlines new inflight video entertainment.
His professionalism and likeableness are obvious to any audience, and his unexpectedly quick wit never fails to entertain.
